(1)Candidates should:
|
 |
Be nominated by their
governmental organizations, in accordance
with the procedure to be mentioned below
in 2.2. Application procedure. |
|
Be a mid-managerial
or high level government official and/or
policymaker from the nominating country
(Be younger than fifty years old). |
|
Have a university degree
(equivalent to at least a Bachelor degree). |
|
Preferably have some
background in the environment and/or
economics, and a minimum of five years
relevant work experience. |
|
Be able to understand
lectures delivered in English and participate
in discussions in English. |
|
Be in good health,
both physically and mentally, to complete
the course. |
|

Requirements for Participants |
| Participants
are required to: |
|
All participants are
requested to prepare and submit their
country report on the themes mentioned
above by email to EHRD (Email: brainjs@me.go.kr)
by 10 October 2008. |
|
Participants will be
requested to give a presentation on
the country report at the country report
presentation session (about 15 minutes). |
|
Return to their home
country at the end of the programme
according to the international travel
schedule set by EHRD; |
| |
Refrain from engaging
in political activities or any form
of employment for profit or gain during
your stay in the Republic of Korea;
and |
| |
Observe the training
and accommodation rules, e.g. remain
at the accommodation designated by EHRD
for the duration of your stay. |
